Painting Your Bathroom

Stage 19

So for all intents and purposes your bathroom renovation is complete and the finishing touch is of course the paint. Regardless of the colour choice / pattern of your tiles we highly recommend you go with white as your paint colour as this will almost always make your bathroom look bigger than it really is.

The usual paint protection rules apply and on this point please don’t make the mistake of using cheap flimsy plastic drop sheets. You’ve spent so much time and money to get to this point so invest in a proper drop sheet and masking tape. Oh, and put in that little extra effort of ensuring that the floor, bath, shower, taps and accessories are properly covered.

In our opinion the BEST paint to use in your bathroom is without doubt Dulux Wash & Wear PLUS Kitchen & Bathroom Low Sheen.

Like any house painting project the longer the paint job lasts the less times you will have to do it so paying a few extra dollars for the “good stuff” upfront will undoubtedly save you time and money down the track.
